CDOT unveils new Modified Combined Alternative

CDOT unveiled a new "Modified Combined Alternative". It proposes a 6-lane highway from C-470 through Golden following US 6 and State Hwy 93. The highway would break off from the Hwy 93 alignment just north of 58th Avenue where it would become a toll road. The toll road would cut north and east across Arvada to Indiana street, then north to State Hwy 128. There would be a connection through the Interlocken area to the Northwest Parkway. They would also convert Indiana and McIntyre to a principal arterial which would connect with the tollway near Indaina and State Hwy 72.
The Draft Environmental Impact Statment (DEIS) is expected to be released in Winter 2007/2007. There will be opportunities for public comment on the DEIS. The DEIS is expected to closely resemble the Modified Combined Alternative. Please familiarize yourself with the documents below and be ready to comment at the next public meetings.
