IF YOU LIVE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, write or call the Jefferson County Commissioners.

IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE JEFFERSON COUNTY, write or call members of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) , the government entity involved with metro wide transportation policy and planning.

If you wish, you may cut and paste this letter:

Dear [Elected Representative],

As a Colorado tax payer, I do not support the proposed Northwest Quadrant 6-8 lane Superhighway. Studies have shown that future growth in this area
does not justify this $1.3 billion tax-payer expense.

A more efficient and less expensive option would be to make arterial improvements, including improving SH 93 into a 4-lane parkway, which will likely costs much less.

I am also concerned about toll roads and their consequences, and ask that you carefully consider all the possible down-sides of toll roads before supporting more tolling in Colorado.

Improved mobility should be the primary goal of any good transportation project. Please put the needs of Colorado citizens ahead of special interests, and support transportation policies in western Jefferson County, and all other counties, that are consistent with our future needs.

Sincerely,
[Your name and address]
